As per these data, every 10 minutes Breast Cancer is taking life of one women in India. This means everyday 144 ( 4500 per month, and 50,000 per annum) women’s are dying due to breast cancer. Major reason is that in 70% cases detection is at advanced stage only. In a country where our top leaders as well media is occupied with Religious matters or castes matters, these diseases does not see religion or caste. The way Government has been after TB, Polio, HIV or toilets, need to take this deadly diseases. It’s the parameter of society advancement how much we respect women in society. Only respect is not enough if everyday we loose 150 of them due to breast cancer. Government spend lot of money on Beti Bachao compaigns, let’s save them too.
